Moreover the regular form of upholstering the corner settee like leather corner settee has become very popular in recent years. More designs and patterns of these settees have been recommended. A corner settee or chair come with good quality cushion may be arranged in any position and placement which aims to provide the ultimate comfort and care for their user. Furthermore, over the occupant may assume, the further advantages of these corner settees are it can always be easily and thoroughly cleaned.

The cushions of these corner settees are made from materials like Spanish leather, velour, burlap and etc. But a slight idea of the comfort of this piece of furniture can be had from the cut, as the corner settee is shown completely bare. The following is the preferable order of preparing the various pieces:

You can start off with the corner posts after you have squaring up to the proper length of the corner settee. However you need to mark out the location of the mortises to make sure you give special care to the tops of the corner settee. The cross-bar tendons extend will be noted on the drawing slightly beyond the corner posts. The front and the two back-rails extend into the posts for one and one-quarter inches.

Next, to construct the leg of this corner settee, make a saw cut for a depth of three eighths of an inch on the four sides, and then finish with the chisel. To complete the corner posts, you need to take up the crossbars for each and fit them to the posts. As per time calculation, the operation will probably require more steps and attention than others throughout the construction of this corner settee.

Next prepare the front and two back-rails by fitting them to the corner posts as already mortised. The grooves of the four end and eight back boards must now be cut in the cross-bars and back-rails. Then you can connect the corner posts of each end with the cross-bars, using glue at all joints. The two ends thus formed may then be set up and connected by the front and two back.

This slight depression keeps the cushions in place. For the seat, or back, one long cushion, or three shorter ones, may be provided. These must be firmly filled and be of uniform thickness all over.
